  Writing the sequel to "The Boondock Saints" took Troy Duffy three years -- a task he likened Tuesday at the University of Notre Dame to "cracking a code." Ninety-nine percent of sequels are terrible, Duffy said. He knew writing a respectable follow-up to a famous cult classic would be no easy task.
